Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, had a severe back injury.

Instead of fully exhausting his conservative healthcare approaches, he decided to get surgery.

During surgery, the membrane surrounding the spinal cord was accidentally nicked. This causes some of his cerebrospinal fluid to leak out. Because of this, the pressure around his brain and spinal cord to decline. This resulted in severe chronic headaches.

Surgery comes with great risks. There is also no going back. You can't undo surgery.
